After 2 years of forced break, the time has finally come at the end of August: Gamescom in Cologne opens for visitors! 😻

Unfortunately, some big names in the gaming world have cancelled their participation (e.g. Sony or Nintendo). But today we take a look at what is offered despite this and what we are looking forward to. 👀

👻Cosplay & Horror

Bandai Namco has the new One Piece adventure game in their luggage, which will probably be shown in hall 7. Horror fans will get their money’s worth with “The Dark Pictures Anthology”.
Unfortunately there will be no news about a new Elden Ring DLC, instead there will be a cosplay contest on August 28th.

We are looking forward to the booth of Giants Software, who have been advertising Farming Simulator for the last few years with a great setup, a visit is worthwhile.

Looking at the announcements, the indie areas are going to be huge again. There are certainly some unknown gems to discover here, which are also perfect for Nintendo Switch or Steam Deck on the go.

🏀No sports for you!

Sports fans, however, will probably be left out in the cold. Neither EA nor Konami’s efootball will be represented at this year’s Gamescom.

We also have to do without playable versions of the new Legend of Zelda game or Splatoon 3. Nintendo rather plans to visit smaller events directly in cities this summer.

But what makes Gamescom are the visitors and the atmosphere around the halls in Cologne. We are looking forward to seeing many faces of the industry (again) and to exchange ideas with the community! 🙋‍♂️

Great that Gamescom is back!
Hit us up if you are in cologne!
